Soccer Fever

Kylie, for the last couple of years, has been begging to try and play soccer. We tried t-ball first in hopes Paul would have a little star and someone to play ball with. However she says it was too much running, hitting and catching. Yup, that about sums up t-ball. Sorry Babe, maybe Mudge will like it. So, this year we got her on a fall soccer league. So far, so good. She's still not really fond of all the running, but she loves to try and kick the ball. As nice as her coach is, she is a bit of a fanatic and was holding an hour long practice twice a week with a game every Saturday. I thought it was a little excessive, and I guess so did some other parents because she finally dropped it down to one day a week and the game. Ky hates playing the defense position back by the goalie, because honestly their little team is so good that they are always on the other end making goals, no other team gets a chance to get the ball to their goal. Anyway, I know this is a mom thing to say but she looks stinking adorable in her uniform and even has pink shin guards! (Did you expect anything else? We had to go to 3 stores to find those!) She loves going to her games and loves having a fan club to come and watch. The best part of the game though is at the end when they get treats and she can play on the toys at the playground.
